These Terms and Conditions constitute a legally binding agreement made between you, whether personally or on behalf of an entity (“you”) and Aryendra Chaudhary operating as TBR (ToBeReal) (“we,” “us,” or “our”), concerning your access to and use of the TBR application and website.
1.1 Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or utilizing the TBR platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with all of these terms, you are expressly prohibited from using the platform and must discontinue use immediately.
1.2 Third-Party Integrations (Instagram Disclaimer)
TBR provides users with uniquely generated URLs designed to be shared on third-party platforms, primarily Instagram. By using our service, you acknowledge that we operate entirely independently. TBR is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Meta Platforms, Inc. or Instagram. Users must adhere to Instagram's community guidelines when sharing our links.
1.3 User-Generated Content (UGC) & Moderation
TBR allows users to receive anonymous text messages and images. To maintain a safe environment, we enforce strict User-Generated Content (UGC) policies:
- NSFW AI Scanning: All incoming text and image payloads are automatically scanned by our AI moderation filters. Content flagged as explicit, abusive, or Not Safe For Work (NSFW) is blocked instantly and never delivered.
- Zero Tolerance: We maintain a zero-tolerance policy for harassment, bullying, threats, or illegal content. TBR acts purely as a conduit and cannot be held legally liable for user-generated content, but we actively provide tools to combat abuse.
2. Privacy Policy & Data Safety
We are intensely dedicated to ensuring the protection of your data. This section outlines exactly what we collect, why we collect it, and how you maintain control.
2.1 Strict Anonymity Promise
We do not capture, demand, or store the social media handle, real name, or exact identity of any anonymous sender.
The foundational premise of TBR is honest, anonymous messaging. We cannot and will not reveal personal identities to the receiver.
2.2 Information We Collect (Device & Network Metadata)
To provide enhanced security, prevent spam, and operate our "Premium Hints" feature, we collect certain non-personally identifiable technical metadata when a user interacts with a TBR link. This includes:
- IP Address & Estimated Location: We collect the IP address to deduce an approximate geographic region (e.g., City, State, Country) to prevent abusive spam and provide location hints. We do not track precise GPS locations.
- Device & Browser Information: We log device models, operating system versions, browser types, screen resolutions, network types (e.g., WiFi/4G), and battery levels at the time of sending a message.
2.3 Astrological & Numerological Data Handling
TBR offers specialized features involving Zodiac compatibility and Vedic Astrology. To facilitate this:
- Registered Users: If you set up an Astro Profile, your Date of Birth, Time of Birth, and Place of Birth (Latitude/Longitude) are securely stored in our database strictly to generate your birth charts (D1/D9). This data is never publicly displayed or sold to third parties.
- Anonymous Senders: When a sender inputs their Date of Birth to check compatibility via a link, this data is processed ephemerally (on-the-fly) to calculate the compatibility score and is NOT permanently stored in our database.
2.4 Image Uploads & Ephemeral Storage
Senders have the option to attach images to their anonymous messages. These are handled with strict security protocols:
- NSFW Verification: Uploaded images are immediately processed through our explicit content detection system before reaching the recipient's inbox.
- Ephemeral Deletion: Media files are temporarily stored in our encrypted database for a maximum duration of 24 hours. After this period, automated scripts permanently and irreversibly delete the images from our active servers.
2.5 User Controls: Report, Block & Deletion
You have absolute control over your inbox and data.
- Report & Block Senders: Users can instantly report any inappropriate message. Furthermore, users can block specific anonymous senders (via hidden device tracking) to prevent them from sending any future messages.
- Message Deletion: You can manually delete any received message or image from your inbox at any time. Once deleted by you, it is wiped from our servers immediately.
- Account Termination: Initiating account deletion from settings will instantly erase your profile data, astrological charts, received messages, and associated images permanently.
3. Refund & Cancellation Policy
3.1 Cancellation of Premium
Subscription management depends on your platform. iOS users can manage or cancel their auto-renewable subscriptions at any time directly through their Apple ID Account Settings on their device. Android users can manage their subscriptions via the Google Play Store or their in-app profile controls. Upon confirmation, recurring billing triggers will cease, and your premium access will safely expire at the conclusion of the active billing cycle.
3.2 Refund Framework
Because premium utility switches activate advanced tracking access immediately upon payment capture, we do not issue pro-rata refunds for partial timelines or unutilized features. All successful transactions are considered final.
3.3 Exceptions & Technical Failures
If a confirmed system breakdown prevents the provisioning of subscription parameters despite a successful transaction debit, users can lodge a support request via email within three (3) business days.
Upon verification of genuine technical failure, your refund will be processed and funds will be reversed to the original payment method within 5 to 7 operational business days.
4. Pricing, Shipping & Delivery Policy
4.1 Pricing
TBR Premium prices are listed dynamically within the application based on your region, platform, and local currency (e.g., USD for USA users, INR for Indian users). Exact pricing is always displayed clearly on the payment screen before any transaction is confirmed. Prices are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
4.2 Digital Delivery (No Physical Shipping)
TBR provides software-as-a-service (SaaS) and digital utility upgrades. We do not sell physical goods. Therefore, no physical shipping or delivery of items is required or provided.
- Upon successful completion of a payment via official secure channels (such as Apple In-App Purchases for iOS or verified gateways like Google Play Billing/Razorpay for Android), your TBR account is upgraded automatically and instantly.
- Delivery of the "Premium Features" is purely digital and activates within seconds of transaction success.
- You will receive a transaction confirmation receipt from the respective payment provider.
